Cabin Classes


Economy seats are 17 inches wide and have an average pitch of 31 inches. Passengers have 2 options for all main meals. Special meals are available but must be requested at least 24 hours prior to departure. Passengers can order a wide range of alcohol and non alcoholic beverages. Seats are fitted with individual entertainment units providing on-demand movies and TV shows.


Business Class seats have an average width of 20 inches and can have a pitch of anywhere between 32 and 78 inches. Upon boarding, passengers are offered champagne and orange juice as well as a hot towel. On shorter flights, a cold meal or continental breakfast is generally served. On longer flights, passengers have 2 hot breakfast options, and 3 options for lunch and dinner. Special requirement meals are available but must be ordered at least 24 hours prior to departure. A wide range of premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available. Each seat is equipped with its own entertainment unit featuring movies, TV programs, audio books, music and games.


First Class is only available on selected aircraft. First class seats have a width of 22 inches and a pitch of 90 inches, and recline to lie completed flat. With a 1-2-1 configuration, all seats have direct access to the isle. Passengers are greeted with a welcome drink and hot or cold towel. All passengers are provided with a Bulgari amenity kit, slippers, pajamas, and a headset. Meals are available at any time, and include a choice of seven entrees and four main courses. Dessert is also served. The entertainment system has a 23-inch flat screen monitor and offers more than 200 hours of viewing time, as well as music, games and audio books.


Business Class passengers also have access to separate check-in counters and the exclusive CIP Lounge. First Class passengers have access to private check-in, a private lounge, and fast-tracked service.

Check-in Options

Online check-in is available from 24 hours until 90 minutes prior to flight departure time. At selected airports, passengers can use self-service kiosks to check in, from 12 hours until 60 minutes prior to departure. Standard check-in is available between 2 hours and 1 hour prior to departure. Business Class and First Class passengers have access to dedicated check-in counters. First Class passengers can check in as late as 30 minutes prior to departure.

Rewards Program

Turkish Airlines offer the Miles&Smiles rewards program. Points can be earned and redeemed on all Star Alliance flights. Members of other Star Alliance rewards programs can earn points by flying with Turkish Airlines. Elite and Elite Plus cardholders have access to the exclusive CIP Lounge.


Business Class passengers, First Class passengers and Miles&Smiles Elite and Elite Plus members have access to the CIP lounge service in Istanbul. This lounge contains private rooms, a wide selection of food and drinks, business centre, WiFi, entertainment, kids room, massage chairs, and showers. Other Star Alliance lounges may be accessible for some Turkish Airlines customers on enquiry.
