Australia's biggest travel agency group Flight Centre Limited has 27 years of experience and success in retail travel globally, operating in 17 countries worldwide. The company, which operates successfully in India through its corporate travel brand FCm Travel Solutions, has now ventured into the retail leisure travel sector in the country under the Flight Shop brand. The first five Flight Shops in India have been opened recently at different locations in NCR - namely MGF Metropolitan Mall (Saket), DT Mega Mall (Gurgaon), City Square Mall (Rajouri Garden), V3S Mall (Laxmi Nagar) and The Great India Place Mall (Noida).
Flight Shop will expand quickly in India, opening a new shop every 1-2 months for the next few years. This rapid growth will provide great opportunities for career development for the right people.
The profile of a Flight Shop Travel Consultant is dynamic and multi-tasking. Our Travel Consultants will provide a "one-stop travel shop" experience for our customers. As a Flight Shop Travel Consultant you will be required to handle any walk-in, telephone or email enquiry related to travel. This will include International and Domestic ticketing, Tours, Packages, Visa applications, Forex and Travel Insurance.
The position is primarily a sales role and involves working towards targets. A strong focus on customer service and great destination and product knowledge are essential.
The position involves roster work to cover night and weekend trading where applicable. One weekly off will be given. This may not be on a weekend. Shifts can start at 9.30am, and finish at 9pm. You will be rostered to work 8 hours each day between these times. You will be required to attend Flight Shop events, supplier events and training outside of work hours on occasion.
Full system, product and sales training will be provided upon joining. Ongoing training and development will continue throughout your career with Flight Shop.
