Please check all your travel documentation carefully and contact us immediately if you have any queries or problems.
It is good idea to carry copies of all your documentation (including passports) separately, and to leave a copy of your itinerary with a relative or friend at home.
Check if food of your preference has been requested, whether you want vegetarian or non-vegetarian food.
Make sure that you reach the right terminal for your flight departure
Each of your luggage pieces should have your name and address tag. Your luggage has to be identified at the destination airport, so a colourful ribbon tied to each piece will help.
Please check that you passport and visas are in order. Most countries require a minimum of six months validity on your passport.
Airline reconfirmation. Although most airlines do not require you to reconfirm, we strongly recommend that you contact the airline at least 72 hours prior to departure to confirm schedule details. Airlines might change flight times and dates without notice.
When reconfirming with your airlines please re-confirm your frequent flyer number(s), special meal and seat requests, etc. Until accrual of your frequent flyer points appears on your statement, your only recourse for points is to show your original boarding passes.
We can assist you in organising traveller’s cheques and foreign currency.
Carriers publish baggage allowances applicable for carriage over their own services. Allowances include cabin baggage and checked baggage. These allowances tend to be based on a weight allowance or a piece system. We recommend that to check your baggage allowance carefully as you may incur a charge for the carriage of baggage in excess of free baggage allowance.
Carriers also publish baggage safety notices that details items that cannot be carried or only carried in checked baggage. Again we recommend that you ask your chosen carrier about the applicable baggage safety requirements.
Duty free allowances vary depending on your country of destination. Generally when entering another country passengers can take one 1.125 litre bottle of alcohol (some countries allow you to bring in two-three bottles) and one carton of cigarettes. When re-entering India, passengers (over 12 years of age) are allowed 2 litres of alcohol, 200 cigarettes or 250gm of tobacco products. Other goods purchased overseas or bought duty-free or tax-free in India must not exceed the value of INR25000/- if returning after stay abroad of more than three days and INR12000/- if returning after stay abroad of less than three days. Goods over this value must be declared. For further up-to-date information please check http://www.cbec.gov.in
